The fight card
Four classes.
Four nights a week.
Kids start at four. Teens and adults start at eleven. Everybody starts the same way: with a free class and a coach watching how you move.

Kids
Listening, balance and the basics of self-defense, in a small class built for little ones.

Kids
Real technique, real effort. Jiu-jitsu and striking that build confidence they can stand on.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Takedowns, positions and submissions. Leverage that works on someone bigger than you.

MMA Kickboxing
Boxing, kickboxing and wrestling put together. Train like a fighter, whether you fight or not.
How we train
Old school.
On purpose.
No gimmicks, no participation trophies. Just hard, careful coaching that has been turning kids into protectors and beginners into champions for twenty years.
“Coach is strict and serious. He will not baby your child.”
She meant it as a compliment. Her boys have trained here for four years.
Emily B., GHOW parentEverything is earned
Belts, stripes and medals are earned on the mat with hard work and commitment. Nobody gets handed anything, which is why it means something when they get it.
Technique from day one
Coach corrects technique from the very first class, even in the 4 to 7 group. Practice makes permanent, so it gets done right from the start.
Safety, always
Hard training and a safe room are not opposites. Drills are run so students push each other without getting hurt, and parents notice.
A family on the mat
Parents train alongside their kids. Teammates celebrate each other's wins. Some students have been here more than ten years, and one started at four and is still here at fifteen.

From the families
Prey to protectors.
Rated 4.7 on Google by the people who train here. Here is what they say, in their own words.
Read all reviews…He's firm on his way of coaching and honestly some may find it hard but since my kids have been going, they have learned so much and learned discipline and fitness. My kids have gone from prey to protectors. Unknown to champions. I couldn't be more proud!
…If you want your child to learn how to actually defend themselves this gym is for you. This is not a gimmicky gym. Your child will really learn how to fight. My girls don’t have bully problems anymore. I’m so thankful we found this place.
I am 62 year old female. I was looking to improve my skills and muscle strength. I began my training with Coach Guerra two and half weeks ago. I have gained one and half pound of muscle mass. The training is bar none the best I have ever had. This is coming from an honorably retired Texas State Trooper! Thank you Coach Guerra!
