Coach Adam Guerra also known by others as El General Guerra owner and chief operator of Guerra’s House of Warriors.
Adam Guerra began his martial arts journey in 1977 at the young age of 4. Over the years, he has evolved from a student to a former professional NHB-MMA fighter, with competitions in Japan, Mexico, and across the USA. Now, as a full-time coach since opening his gym in 2005, he is entering his 47th year in the martial arts world.
Coach Guerra holds a 1st-degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and a 7th-degree Black Belt in Combat Jiu-Jitsu. Additionally, he has coached numerous amateur and professional athletes in Boxing, Kickboxing, MMA, as well as many BJJ Champions throughout his coaching career. His extensive experience and commitment to the martial arts make him a highly respected figure in the community.
Assistant Instructor Tayde Garcia began her martial arts journey at the age of 12 and, over the years, has become an integral part of Guerra’s House of Warriors since 2017.
Notably, she holds the distinction of being the first professional female MMA athlete in Brazoria County. At the academy, she plays a key role in assisting with both the children’s programs and the teen/adult programs.
