Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
At Guerra’s House of Warriors, we offer comprehensive Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training in both Gi (traditional kimono) and No Gi (grappling without the kimono).
Our Gi classes focus on grips, chokes, and submissions using the uniform, while our No Gi classes emphasize speed, agility, and a different set of techniques applicable to real-life scenarios. Both styles are integral to a well-rounded BJJ education, and our structured curriculum ensures students progress smoothly and effectively. Join us to experience the dynamic and versatile world of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, where you can train in both Gi and No Gi to become a complete martial artist.

What is BJJ?
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art and combat sport that focuses on grappling and ground fighting. Developed in Brazil, BJJ emphasizes the use of technique and leverage to control and submit opponents, regardless of size or strength. By utilizing joint locks, chokeholds, and positional control, practitioners learn to defend themselves effectively in real-life scenarios and competitions.
Why Train BJJ?
Training in BJJ offers numerous physical, mental, and social benefits. Physically, BJJ provides a full-body workout, enhancing strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination. Mentally, it sharpens problem-solving skills, boosts confidence, and reduces stress. The supportive community at Guerra’s House of Warriors fosters camaraderie, respect, and lifelong friendships. Whether your goal is self-defense, fitness, or competition, BJJ is a rewarding and transformative journey.
